Cushions

In recent weeks I have been fighting a battle with my new screen printing kit and sadly I have lost the battle but I am determined to win the war! None of my screens are washing out properly after being burns so I guess its just a case of trial and error. I will post pictures when I next attempt to burn a screen.
I have decided to leave it for now and I have been testing out some cushion designs and making some test covers. I think three in particular have worked really well and I am having the designs printed on test swatches by Spoonflower.com to find the best fabric before going ahead and start making them.

Here is the barbed wire stag head deign I plan on making very soon!

Oops!

I have had a pretty eventful weekend and I have learnt a very hard lesson. NEVER put a bottle of vodka in your bag whenyou go home drunk! Of course I dropped my bag and the bottle smashed destroying everything in my bag including my blackberry! On the bright side I went out the next day and bout a shiney new iPhone!

I have added a few more things to my website but if you have tried to buy anything you will find your card is being declined. Dont worry it will be fixed soon!

My website

The time is nearly here! I have been spending the past few days adding products to my website and getting it all ready to go live and now we are just waiting for it to be moved onto its proper address www.gypsysboutique.co.uk. Rest assured as soon as it is up you will be the first to know!

New Drawings

I am back.... I think. So far so good with my new internet so fingers crossed! I have started drawing a new range of greeting cards and prints which I stumbled upon by accident. I had an urge to draw a bear one day and once finished I just left in on my drawing table. Two weeks later it was my 4 year anniversary and I always try and make my cards and while sitting down trying to think of an idea and looking at the drawing the words 'I cant bear to be without you' popped into my head. A few mintutes of photoshop magic later and voila!

Off to London

I have finally got on to the Internet via the trains wi-fi as I am on my way to London as we speak. This is a quick update to say I have no idea when my home internet will be fixed but I am working on it.
I have some great new drawings to show you, using previous collections I have re drawn onto book pages from books that were falling to bits, recycling at its best!

Stay tuned and I will get back to regular blogging ASAP! Who knows I may even post some pics from my mini break.
